Map of disaster funding activations

The Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) can be activated following a eligible disaster event, to provide funding and support to Queensland communities.

The map below provides information on DRFA Activations for the current financial year. 

It includes filters to highlight specific council areas or disaster events, or to see what funding is eligible for who, such as measures available, for councils, individuals, small businesses or primary producers.

How to use the interactive map to search for disaster funding activations

  • The drop-down menus on the left hand side of the map the display can be filtered to highlight specific Activated Disasters, Eligible Recipients and/or Local Government Areas.
  • Click on a Local Government Area on the map and a pop-up box will provide information on the current activations and links to relevant available assistance.
  • The left and right arrows in the top right corner of the pop-up box can be used to cycle through the different disasters that have affected that area.
