If It's Flooded, Forget It Campaign
Vehicle floodwater entry is a leading cause of flood related deaths, with more lives lost in Queensland than anywhere else in Australia. It’s important that all Queenslanders are aware of the risks and have a plan to stay safe. Since 2011 the If It’s Flooded, Forget It campaign has equipped Queensland drivers with strategies to avoid driving into floodwater, and built a strong awareness about the dangers. Get Ready Queensland has been leading this iconic Queensland Government initiative since 2023.
