Disaster recovery funding eligibility
There are a number of relief and recovery programs under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) for individuals, not-for-profit organisations, small business, primary producers.
These programs are administered by both Queensland Government and Australian Government agencies via the links provided below.

Funding assistance for individuals
There are various types of funding assistance available to eligible individuals impacted by eligible disaster events.
Recovery Connect is the Australian Government website that brings together services and supports from charities, organisations and government directly to you. This assistance helps people prepare for and recover from disasters and major natural events.

The Emergency Hardship Assistance (EHA) grant helps eligible people affected by a disaster to get: food; clothing; medical supplies; and temporary accommodation.

This grant supports people directly impacted by a disaster to meet their immediate needs where they have experienced loss of 1 or more essential services for more than 5 days.
