Evaluation of the Community Recovery Fund

About

The jointly funded Australian and Queensland Government (50:50) evaluation program was a requirement under Category C of the DRFA, following the Central Queensland Bushfires, 22 November to 6 December 2018 (the Bushfires).

The National Monitoring and Evaluation Framework for Disaster Recovery Programs was established to provide a consistent evaluative framework that can be applied to the planning and evaluation of any disaster recovery program in Australia. The framework is designed to provide useful evaluative information that can be applied to the current program and future disasters.

The evaluation program monitored and reviewed the extraordinary recovery package and assessed its success supporting disaster-affected communities.
