About

The Property Level Flood Information Portals Program, led by the Queensland Reconstruction Authority (QRA), will deliver an online solution for the 39 eligible local governments to support homeowners/residents to access flood risk information for improved flood awareness and preparedness.

Where an eligible council does not wish to opt-in to the QRA-led portals solution, there is an option to apply for a grant as outlined in the program options.

Funding acknowledgement

The Property Level Flood Information Portals Program is jointly funded (50:50) by the the Queensland and Australian Governments under Category D of the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) following the 2021-22 Queensland Rainfall and Flooding event, as part of the $741 million Resilient Homes Fund.

FloodCheck Queensland

Under the Portals initiative, the Department of Resources are updating the existing FloodCheck Queensland application that provides relevant flood information (flood studies and flood mapping) that has been acquired by governments at all levels and for use by the public. FloodCheck Queensland provides a statewide outlook of flood information and data developed as part of the Queensland Flood Mapping Program.
