Science of Fitness - Extraordinary Disaster Assistance Recovery Grant recipient

Today we'd like you to meet Joe. He runs Science Of Fitness in West End, Brisbane.

His gym was directly affected by the #seqfloods with knee height water going through the building causing damage to equipment, flooring and the walls.

Disaster loans available to more flood hit Queensland small business and not-for-profits

Low interest loans up to $100,000 have been extended to small businesses and not-for-profits in more local government areas following the latest flooding to inundate southern Queensland.

Bornen Constructions Willowbank benefit from Government grant

Flood-affected small businesses across the Southeast have been thrown a lifeline from the Australian and Queensland governments, with grants of up to $50,000 now available.

In late February 2022, a job site in Willowbank was inundated by water as a result of the severe South East Queensland flooding.

Blue & Grae leather helped by DRFA small business grant

After the extreme rain event in late February 2022 Josef Selway, co-owner of Blue & Grae – a business in Albion that creates hand-made leather goods – was expecting his workshop to flood and prepared for what was thought to be the worst case scenario by moving things upstairs or putting them on top of high workbenches.
