Monsoon Trough - built/infrastructure fund

The $134.5 million Built/Infrastructure Fund is part of the $242 million DRFA Category C and D package, available to councils and state agencies activated for Reconstruction of Essential Public Assets following the North and Far North Queensland Monsoon Trough: 25 January - 14 February 2019.

Betterment Fund

The purpose of the Betterment Program is to build back more resilient essential infrastructure damaged by the devastating impacts of the Monsoon Trough, and reduce the impact of future events on essential infrastructure and the community.

Betterment detailed submissions can now be prepared and lodged with QRA via the MARS Portal.

Water and Sewerage Infrastructure Program

The objectives of the Water and Sewerage Infrastructure Program are to provide Category D DRFA funding to enable eligible local governments to restore essential water and sewerage infrastructure that was damaged by the Monsoon Trough event that is considered ineligible for DRFA Category B funding and ensure essential services are delivered to the community, accelerating recovery and relieving distress.

Community Assets Program

The purpose of the Community Assets Program is to clean up and repair community and recreational assets damaged as a direct result of the Monsoon Trough. It enable local governments and state agencies to clean-up and repair recreational assets and facilities that have been damaged by the Monsoon Trough and are considered ineligible for DRFA Category B restoration funding.

Community Asset Program detailed submissions can now be prepared and lodged with QRA via the MARS Portal.
