Primary Producer Industry Support - 2025-26 Flooding and severe weather

About

$13.32 million Primary Producer Industry Support Package offering a tailored holistic support for farmers impacted by Queensland Monsoon Trough, Cyclone Koji, Cyclone Narelle and Severe Weather, commencing 24 December 2025.

Funding under this Package will support medium-term recovery and enhance the long-term resilience of the primary producer industry by:

  • Providing timely holistic and integrated support to impacted primary producers, their families and staff, ensuring access to financial, psycho-social and practical capacity building services to aid recovery and build personal and business resilience
  • Facilitating the financial recovery of primary production enterprises
  • Supporting the viability of agricultural businesses affected by the disaster
  • Contributing to long-term community resilience by enabling primary producers to recover efficiently and sustainably
  • Supporting the community more broadly in overcoming the impacts of the event and ensure ongoing engagement and improved resilience against future events.​​​​​​​
  • Helping producers with pest and weed management activities.
