Monitoring and Evaluation Program

Program purpose

The National Monitoring and Evaluation Framework for Disaster Recovery Programs was established to provide a consistent evaluative framework that can be applied to the planning and evaluation of any disaster recovery program in Australia. The framework is designed to provide useful evaluative information that can be applied to the current program and future disasters.

The evaluation program monitors and reviews extraordinary recovery packages and assess success factors in supporting disaster affected communities.
