Bushfire Recovery Grants now available in central Queensland

Communities impacted by the Central Queensland Bushfires have received more than $1 million to fund recovery and resilience projects that will help strengthen the region against future disasters.
EOIs now open for $100 million Queensland Betterment Fund

$100 million is now available for communities impacted by the North and Far North Queensland Monsoon Trough to repair damaged infrastructure to a stronger standard, thanks to the Queensland Betterment Fund. This is the largest pool of funding ever approved for Betterment in Australia.
Traditional burning techniques build bushfire resilience on Minjerribah

Two years on the road to recovery from Tropical Cyclone Debbie

Two years on from Severe Tropical Cyclone Debbie crossing the coast at Airlie Beach and inundating communities from Bowen to the New South Wales border, recovery efforts are continuing and reconstruction works are almost complete.
DRFA activated for Severe Tropical Cyclone Trevor

Disaster assistance is now available for local government areas in Far North Queensland impacted by the severe weather and flooding brought on by Severe Tropical Cyclone Trevor. Assistance is being provided through the jointly funded Commonwealth-Queensland Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).
Applications open for the Queensland Disaster Resilience Fund

Local governments, state agencies and non-government organisations can now apply for a share of the $38 million Queensland Disaster Resilience Fund (QDRF) for initiatives that will better protect Queensland communities from natural disasters.
