Concessional loans activated for north Queensland farmers, small businesses and not-for-profits

Flood affected north Queensland primary producers, small businesses and not-for-profits can now apply for loans to aid their recovery.

Disaster assistance extended to more Townsville suburbs and NQ councils

Financial assistance is available for flood affected residents in another 26 localities across the Townsville local government area, and for two additional north Queensland councils.

As a tropical low continues to bring torrential downpours to north Queensland, the Australian and Queensland Governments have activated disaster payments for eligible residents.

North Queensland flood recovery gets $8 million injection

An $8 million funding kick-start from the Australian and Queensland Governments will boost the clean-up and early recovery efforts of communities impacted by north Queensland’s flood emergency.
