Rural Landholder Recovery Grants - 2025 Tropical Cyclone Alfred and Associated Rainfall and Flooding

About

Recovery grants up to $10,000 have been extended to rural landholders or lessees of at least 10 hectares who sustained direct damage but can’t access other primary producer assistance following the Tropical Cyclone Alfred,  and Associated Severe Weather 1 – 16 March 2025 event.

Eligibility

The grants are available to eligible applicants located in the following council areas:

  1. Brisbane City Council
  2. Bundaberg Regional Council
  3. Fraser Coast Regional Council
  4. City of Gold Coast
  5. Gympie Regional Council
  6. Ipswich City Council
  7. Lockyer Valley Regional Council
  8. Logan City Council
  9. City of Moreton Bay
  10. Noosa Shire Council
  11. Redland City Council
  12. Scenic Rim Regional Council
  13. Somerset Regional Council
  14. Southern Downs Regional Council
  15. Sunshine Coast Regional Council
  16. Toowoomba Regional Council

Funding acknowledgement

The package is jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments to support Queensland communities in their recovery from the Tropical Cyclone Alfred and Associated Severe Weather, 1 - 16 March 2025 event.
