Queensland Resilience and Risk Reduction Fund 2019-20

About the Queensland Resilience and Risk Reduction Fund 2019-20 (QRRRF)

The QRRRF builds on the former Queensland Disaster Resilience Fund.

In 2019-20, 68 projects have been approved to improve the resilience of Queensland communities across 53 councils, four regional organisations of councils, two Queensland Government frontline agencies, a non-profit community organisation, and via Energy Queensland.

Examples of successful projects included electronic gauges and cameras for flood monitoring floodways, flood warning systems, replacing timber bridges, and widening of emergency access trails for bushfire protection
