Extraordinary assistance grants of up to $50,000 are now available for primary producers, small businesses and non-profit organisations affected by the recent floods in the Wide Bay-Burnett region to help communities get back on their feet.
Critical disaster assistance will now flow to flood-affected primary producers in Central, Southern and Western Queensland through the jointly funded Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).
Queensland communities can now apply for a share of $19.1 million in resilience and risk reduction funding to help them better prepare for future disasters through the Queensland Resilience and Risk Reduction Fund (QRRRF).
