The Australian and Queensland Governments have responded quickly to the recent Queensland fire emergency with the activation of disaster funding to help impacted local governments and their communities recover.

The Queensland Government and not-for-profits Rural Aid and AgForce have joined forces to help the hardest hit primary producers in the worst-impacted regions.

The Australian and Queensland Governments have activated disaster support for more Queenslanders impacted by recent bushfires on the Southern Downs, with financial assistance available to a range of new localities.

Concessional loans up to $250,000 are now available to bushfire impacted small businesses in Queensland's Western Downs, with support being provided by the Australian and Queensland Governments.
