The $4 million Community Development Program aims to provide support to members of disaster-affected communities, individuals and families including children with community development and wellbeing support. It will also provide vulnerable people (people at greater risk), local organisations, social services and councils with individual and organisational disaster preparedness initiatives to assist in the long-term disaster recovery following the Queensland Monsoon Trough, Cyclone Koji, Cyclone Narelle and Severe Weather, 24 December 2025 - 24 April 2026 event.

- Bundaberg Regional Council
- Carpentaria Shire Council
- Cassowary Coast Regional Council
- Cook Shire Council
- Douglas Shire Council
- Etheridge Shire Council
- Flinders Shire Council
- Gladstone Regional Council
- McKinlay Shire Council
- Richmond Shire Council
- Western Downs Regional Council
- Winton Shire Council
