The $11.77 million Community Health and Wellbeing program aims to work with community groups and local councils to address the medium to long-term needs of the event-impacted communities, ensuring a locally informed response and long-term sustainability, and engage across impacted communities to coordinate the recovery process across and improving interconnectedness of recovery activities following Tropical Cyclone Alfred, commencing 1 March 2025 event.

Funding acknowledgement
The package is jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments to support Queensland communities in their recovery from Tropical Cyclone Alfred and Associated Severe Weather, 1 - 16 March 2025 event.

Eligible council areas
This program targets Local Government Areas (LGAs) activated for Personal Hardship Assistance Scheme (PHAS) which experienced loss and severe damage of properties due to the Tropical Cyclone Alfred, commencing 1 March 2025 event.
