Community Relief Fund - 2025 Tropical Cyclone Alfred and Associated Rainfall and Flooding

About 

The $15 million Community Relief Fund is jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments to support Queensland communities in their clean-up efforts from the Tropical Cyclone Alfred and Associated Rainfall and Flooding, commencing 1 March 2025 event.

The Community Relief Fund is available to eligible councils to undertake essential immediate recovery activities.

The package provides timely and immediate support to eligible councils to remove waste and debris, clean-up properties, community facilities, playground and parks, and undertake other make safe activities as required by council to progress with local recovery.

  • City of Moreton Bay Council
  • Redland City Council
  • Scenic Rim Regional Council
  • Sunshine Coast Regional Council
